Location

Situated on the beachfront surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens, the four stars Amaryllis Beach Resort is a great place to relax but is also ideal for exploring nearby Bridgetown and the vibrant St Lawrence Gap. Please be aware there is a steep drive to the main entrance of the hotel. There are 2 level accessible parking spaces.

Accommodation

Air-conditioned non-smoking accessible rooms specifically designed for the disabled. They meet both European and American standards. Bedrooms have two double beds, telephone (induction couplers are available), satellite TV, small fridge, coffee maker, clock radio, ironing kit, hair dryer and in-room safe (additional charge), large patio or balcony. Bathrooms with level-entry shower, foldable seat and grab rails at shower and WC. There is an audible and visual fire alarm and large print fire evacuation notices. All bedrooms are accessible by lift that has tactile/Braille controls and audible and visual floor indicators.

Swimming Pools

One nestled amongst lush tropical gardens, the other facing the sea. The children's wading pool is the perfect place for your kids to frolic and swim. Jacuzzi. Don't miss the opportunity to snorkel in the natural sea aquarium around the barriers in front of the hotel and enjoy a wide variety of colourful tropical fish. The snorkeling equipment is complementary at the Water sports Shop and is also available for sale in the gift shop. Pool bar. There are adapted toilets in public areas of the hotel.

Beach

The 150 metre stretch of beach at the Amaryllis is an excellent environment for families with year round water temperature of approximately 27 C / 81 F. The endangered Hawksbill Sea Turtles nesting on the beach (most important nesting beach in the Eastern Caribbean). Purchase exotic tropical clothing from the resident Beach Vendor, Reggie. Choose from shirts, shorts, dresses, wraps and slacks. Reggie also makes clothing specifically to order.

Freshly made sandwiches, paninis, bagels, croissants, salads and pastas are also on offer.
